Getting Ready for the Movies

The Irish Film Institute screening in Dublin is fast approaching, Saturday 23rd of Oct at 19.20, e-mails and invites and general heads up, and endless phone calls, and who is who, and who is where, and what's what in relation to getting people along to the event, it's all grass roots stuff after all, and you got to put the time in...facebook helps, but is far from enough...people need to be contacted and the personal effort is required...however much a headache might disincline one from yet another ring round....

I have been reworking the site with the help of Robert Condon our brilliant web designer. Daithi Magner and I worked over a new trailer yet again on Sunday and Monday of last...as the previous Trailer, placed there two days before did not quite cut it, and so far all feed back applauds our effort's which is great, and we appreciate it, considering the headaches and time and effort to organize and get this done.

I want the site TIGHT and looking as good as I can get it before the numbers really start pouring in...more developments on the way...and the hits are rising each day, with people spending more and more time actually looking through the material and not simply skipping off...fingers crossed that the flood gates burst!!!! bring it on....
